"Our it's the story of a passion
that lasts for 4 generations"
The Palazzona di Maggio estate is located on the hills of San Pietro di Ozzano in Emilia Romagna and falls in the DOC Colli di Imola and Romagna area.
A history that dates back to the beginning of the 1960s when, in this avant-garde of Romagna, Luigi Perdisa created large areas of Sangiovese and Albana, placing them alongside, in the wake of a tradition that dates back to 1800, some international vines such as Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay and Merlot.
Since then the Perdisa family has cultivated their own vineyards from which they produce quality wines that are a faithful expression of the territory and of each vintage which is always different and particular.

TERRITORY AND VINEYARDS
Our hills are characterized by extraordinary biodiversity and heterogeneous soils extremely suitable for growing vines thanks also to a favorable microclimate with high temperature range and ventilation.
The vineyards are located between 80 and 175 meters above sea level in alluvial clay and sand soils.
The choice of rootstocks and varieties was made exclusively for the best possible agronomic result in relation to the type of soil and the oenological objective, in accordance with the mission and objectives of the company's founder Luigi Perdisa. The Perdisa family with Alberto, his wife Antonella and their children Filippo, Caterina and Federico, tireless and innovative in the vineyard and in the cellar, today cultivates the same varieties chosen at the time by the founder on a vine-growing area of 15.50 hectares out of a total of approximately 60 on the estate.
